In addition, there will be two overnight weekend trips to bookend each cohort. These are expected to occur on the first weekend and the fifth or sixth week.

Over the three months following the six-week program, we will hold monthly group check-in sessions where participants discuss their health journeys in the wake of Wakaya. In addition, each participant has the option to participate in one-on-one mentoring sessions with program leaders to discuss their wellness journeys. Lastly, participants will reconvene and demonstrate their leadership skills by working together to contribute to an event for their community.
